Thompson runs for judge—his opponent lied about him in a campaign flyer

Republicans are liars!

In today's mail I got a flyer for Sean Hatfield, who is running for Judge. He labeled James Thompson a socialist: "compare the candidates Judge Sean Hatfield.....Socialist James Thompson." I didn’t realize, until now, that Thompson was running for judge.

I know that Thompson does not consider himself to be a socialist. So how can this Republican call him a socialist if it is not factually correct? The flyer also says that Thompson has “Criminal History demonstrates Disrespect for the Law." I don't know what they base that statement on, but since they lied about his politics, I'll bet they also lied about his so called "criminal history."

Apparently it is OK for Republicans to lie about their opponents. I can remember when some one complained when I called some Republicans fascists. I don't remember what the objection to that was, but I sure don't feel bad about that now. If they can call a liberal Democrat (or even left of center, such as with Barbara Bolleir), Then I don't see any reason why I should feel bad about calling a Republican a fascist. One thing I will call them, and I think it is completely justified, is liars. They are liars and that is a fact.
