I don’t know if President Donald
Trump is really afraid of the “Squad,”
but I like what Tlaib has to say about him. Trump, and much of the conservative
part of our news media are always searching for ways to try and humiliate the
“Squad” and make them all look stupid. Trump and his conservative followers all
seem to hate the very idea of the word socialism. If they are not afraid of the
“Squad” they seem to fear that such socialist ideas may catch on. In that sense
they are terrified of that idea. –SJ Otto

Rep. Rashida Tlaib came out swinging Saturday,
saying President Trump was afraid of her and other members of “the squad.”
“It’s been very clear to me, especially this
last week, that he’s scared of us,” Tlaib told the Guardian in her first interview
since declining Israel’s invitation to visit her grandmother on
humanitarian grounds.
“He’s afraid of women of color … because we’re
not afraid of him and we’re not afraid to speak up and say that we have a white
supremacist in the White House who has a hate agenda,” Tlaib said.
