This site focuses on Republican politicians and conservatives that rip off their constituency. We have the Tea Party, fundamentalist churches, the corruption of ALEC and other special interests groups. But the site also supports progressive Democrats and the local Democratic Socialist of America. We must have ideas on how to replace regressive and corrupt politicians with something better. Bernie is not out of the election yet!
Just as I was beginning to think the election between
Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders was about over, Sanders made a big comeback.
He took Alaska, Hawaii and he won big. The race is still on.
Here is the latest update from the Bernie Sanders campaign:
You have to see
thisWall Street Journalheadline
from late last week:
"Hillary Clinton Begins Shift to the
campaign's plans, voters got in the way. We've won six of the last seven
contests, and took 82% of the vote in Alaska,
73% in Washington, and 70% in Hawaii.
Here’s the truth:
campaign and their allies in the financial and political establishment are
desperately trying to write us off.Their
goal is to get you to stop fighting — to stop volunteering, to stop donating —
because they know that if we continue to stand together, we can win.
Now we have to
focus onnext Tuesday'sprimary in Wisconsin, another large state where we can
do very well.
For the past
several years, Wisconsin
has been ground zero for worker’s rights, women’s rights, and voting rights.
Those people cannot afford to wait for incremental change — they need a
president who will think big about the transformational change required of this
moment. And that is what Bernie will deliver.
