Endless wars, sanctions, and arms sales have spread violence around the world, enriching a few powerful corporations, while doing nothing to make everyday people like us safe, in the U.S. or abroad. The greatest threats to our security today will not be solved by more of the same.

Representatives Pramila Jayapal, Barbara Lee, and 17 of their colleagues have introduced the Foreign Policy for the 21st Century Resolution to chart a new path forward. The bill promotes diplomacy and non-military approaches to U.S. foreign policy, while reining in the president's ability to wage war and reducing the Pentagon's bloated budget.
