With the Tea Party, fundamentalist churches and the corruption of Alec and other special conservative interests groups—We need to speak out against the total destruction of our politics and infrastructure here in Kansas. Tiahrt opposes Sebelius

Rep. Todd Tiahrt has been critical of President Barack Obama's nomination of Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius as

U.S.

secretary of health and human services. According to The Wichita Eagle, Tiahrt has been trying to distinguish himself from his senate opponent Rep. Jerry Moran. Moran is conservative, but Tiahrt is part of the “idiot right.” These are the extremists in the party whose opinions run into the absurd. They oppose sebelius because she has supported abortion rights and opposed anti-choice attempts to restrict abortion. Because of this and to pacify his far-right religious wing-nut supporters Tiahrt opposes Sebelius even though she would put Kansas on the national spotlight.

Tiahrt solidly supports the idiot right.
